Tulsa, OK – SCIFIT CEO, Larry Born, was named State Exporter of the Year for the state of Oklahoma by the U.S. Small Business Association. SCIFIT also won Exporter of the Year at the regional level in U.S. Region VI, including Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana and New Mexico.

The company was honored for their contributions in exporting relating to their creative overseas marketing strategies, effective solutions to export-related problems and introduction of unique trading relationships.

The company was created in 1987. SCIFIT designs, produces and markets high quality cardio fitness equipment such as treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, recumbent steppers, upper body and all body exercisers. SCIFIT is headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma where they manufacture products for domestic sales and for export. SCIFIT exports their equipment to over 40 countries worldwide.

Mr. Born was recognized during a luncheon May 24 at Rose State College in Midwest City, OK.
